OK, not to try to hijack this thread or anything, but Pat(love that name!), when Smith was really little, and we drove up to a playground one day, she exclaimed, "Hurry up and let me out, so I can go and see the friends I haven't met yet!"
As a terminally shy person, I so loved her outgoing spirit!

I'm sure you'd love Tripod's pretty pink nails. They're called
"Soft Paws" and are glued on over his claws to keep him from
wrecking the furniture and everything else.
He'll be celebrating his 4th birthday on July 4.
