Apparently Fox decided to air a picture of Mark Foley several times during primetime last night on the O'Reilly show. Nothing wrong with that, since Foley is the hot news right now. Trouble is that under the picture they identified Foley with a "Democrat" label. No appologies or explanations that I have heard so far.
So much for "fair and balanced" news.

When I spot a typo like that on my tv screen, I picture some careless employee who hopes to work his way up through the ranks to producer and is protected by his union from being fired no matter how many spelling and/or factual errors emanate from his keyboard.

I didn't see it but maybe the picture was taken when Foley was elected... as a Democrat. I do understand your point, as he is a Republican now, however, things aren't always as devious as you like to make them out to be.

Well, from my understanding Foley only served as a Democrat when a city council member. The logo was of the type that is normally associated with national politics.

Maybe the person setting the captions figured that if Fox was going negative on somebody, he had to be a Democrat?
